A tad crazy and a tad in love.

So here I was looking for some sunflower seeds for Cookie and Tupshy, my birds. I went to the pet shop and ended up saying hi to all the pets including the baby cockatoos, the persian kittens.. One of them spent a good time playing with my fingers… said hi to some parrots and left the last bit to spend in the cockatiel section.

Then I wondered if I should get two more companions for my two plus year old cockatiels and my heart said YES..

And well since I was buying a bigger cage, I ended up getting two more cockatiels.. I fell in love with them. Introducing you to Tippy and Tuppy..

Why two ? since I like everything in pairs..

They have adjusted well with my existing birds. Though Cookie my existing cockatiel male tried to show off by singing in different whistle tones for an hour.. and well telling them who is the boss..

I must say it was pretty entertaining watching them get to know each other.. How intricate their relationships are too and they are quite accepting too..

Anyway, today is Rocky’s birthday… Wish you loads of love and happiness and many more years of this day. May you have all that you desire and all that you deserve… All good things..

Gam Ho Ki Khushi Dono Kuchh Der Ke Saathi Hain

Love this ghazal..

On a different note :

After being adopted by pigeons and its family,doves, sparrows, wasps who insist on coming and visiting me everyday, I have a rat who thinks it has found heaven inside my Bolero.

Now according to Rocks he judiciously gets his food, but in the evenings after the car is parked, he knows, his mobile home is home all warm from the engine and its works..

There are big cats around who feast on them. I think thats why it thinks it has a safe place..

What do I do ?? I feel too bad to kill it.. It has not eaten up anything as of now but heck..!!

Should try and catch the Cat and set it to scare the little buddy. Dont want to kill it..

Ah what a dilema..

I also forgot to mention a squirrel family who keeps waiting for the crumbs that dad keeps for it. I never knew squirrels shrieked so much…

Sheesh !! I think I am going nuts with all the domestic life around me.. hahaha !! But its fun..

I thought I attracted animals … seems my dad has double the power. Going by my principle, he judiciously feeds them..

Practically speaking, am a little scared of the rat.. not because of its existence but what if he cuts my electricals or whatever wirings.. Sigh …
