Hunt for THE cook

Well it was bliss when it was just me and R and we managed pretty well and now with parents, its essential to have help.

I took up blogger Aqua’s suggestion to look this site up.

She gave me this link www.babajob.com.

Its an awesome site if you are looking for any kind of domestic services..

I had three interviews in about 2 hours of calling the numbers.

Registered with 673/- and posted up the job. Had access to all phone numbers

I highly recommend this service to anyone who is looking for domestic help in Bangalore..

And I got THE cook.. and that too in a day.. Buhahaha .. !!!

On the sidelines, I am thanking God that I am in India and its fairly easy to find help and affordable as well. Makes life easy.. I keep hearing from my Indian friends abroad how difficult and expensive it is to get help there.. Sigh..

Thank God for small mercies. !!!

On to the next projects..

Finding an extra parking place in my new apt.. open parking/close parking ??
Designing my new kitchen..

Rock On !!! seems to be a fun movie.. Like the songs in the promo.. Do I see strains of Rang de Basanti.. hmmm…..

On a different note.. I have this ex colleague and old pal Gaurav, who is doing real good with music . Do check him and his band out..

On a different note :

Do you know of a place which has all the food only in the menu and at a prime hour tells you that whatever you ask for, nothing is available..

Do you know of a place which gives the serving to the wrong person… that is serves your order to your friend and serves your friend’s order to you ?

Do you know of a place who serves you a dish which needs spoons to eat but does not serve you spoon and napkins till you ask for it.. and yes the condition is that this is a place for the so called youth crowd with fancy hookas and all that…
