Feeling Good

It feels good to start with a good feeling .. I have this immense gut feeling that there is coming forth a change.. in how things are going to be.

I feel I have closed on one phase and beginning another.

Some parts of me are still unresolved but well I always look forward to unraveling the new puzzles inside me.

Sometimes, it makes me wonder why my thoughts turn the way it does and then it is obvious that sometimes, the ego drives it and sometimes my beliefs.

It is becoming clearer and clearer I believe it strongly that how we think and how we make decisions and our choices to live our lives and not live our lives is purely based on what we have grown up believing.

Our biases are mostly based on beliefs which are hereditary and some cultural and some religious.. though we may not know or realise it.

Anyways, so along with my forays in Buddhism, I got some time to browse some books to understand Hinduism better. I am excited and really looking forward to reading them. I am a sucker for Mythology so picked up Ka while I was browsing for other books. I thought it was a pretty interesting read when I browsed through some of the pages.

Was really impressed by The Holy Geeta by Swami Chinmayananda. Here is the online version.

And also like what I read a little on the Buddha and his Teachings by Narada. I found the same online as well.

After The Japanese Wife, I wanted to get some lighthearted reading as well so chose the omnibus of Ruskin Bond which I plan to go through on a lazy winter afternoon.

With all that and some more.. I thought it was a Sunday well spent.

Watched 2012. It felt like the whole movie was a plethora of visual effects of earth and its destruction. Repetitive scenes, bad scripting, bad editing.. did not like it.

I just caught 26/11 movie on TV and that was made better I felt.

Time passed with GI Joe.. All I can say is : EGAAAAAD  Save me !!!

On the side

• Sibling rivalry with pseudo siblings.. aka cousin. Specially if you put my no sibling bucket in the line. What does it take to get it off.. and be just members of the same family ?
• I recently learnt from Rocky that Harley has a term for riders who are short ( like yours truly)  I AM VERTICALLY CHALLENGED Buhahahah !!!
• Rocky cannot get enough of his test riding the Harley. Well I am happy he is happy and more so because  I got the laptop Bag printed with Harley logo.. Buhahahah to me !!
• It is a good feeling to be totally detached from it all..  Sigh so much relief..
