Review
Amar Kaul is a meticulous human being who does not like controversy and has a decent job and a house. Lives with his mom, has few friends and wishes to be more than what he is like any other human being chugging across life. One of his important tasks of the day is to make a TO DO list. Since he does not disagree with anyone, he is made to take all the flak and more in his life.
One day, on a regular medical visit, he hears that he is about to die and he does not believe that how a person like him who does not indulge keeps away from all things addictive and lives a pretty boring life can be a victim of a serious disease. He has 3 months to live.
But typical of that character, his inner self does not allow him to give up and urges him to make a TO DO list of what he would like to do before he dies.
The movie then takes the audience through his journey of fulfilling his wishes.
Its a poignant reminder of how many things we have left behind in the process of running after what matters now and to just survive. It makes the audience want to cheer him and feel good with him.
The dialog is crisp and funny. What I liked the best is the beautiful way of blending humor and sadness. Many a times, at a strong emotional moment, when you think you are totally into that scene, out pops a humorous angle to the same and you are stuck to your seat to see where the story turns.
Editing is well done. Story flows very smoothly and for a change there are no dramatics. It was a vast relief and refreshing to see how a writer can project death and its before and after affects with the utmost realistic and positive way of crossing over.
A must watch for people who like offbeat and a story with substance. Though the subject is morbid, it will leave you with a smile and a message of acceptance and the fact that do what you can with what you have rather than give up.
A controlled direction, very good cast , good music.. just suited to the movie and overall a very worthwhile watch.

Review
Well this is another movie which has all the jazz and Madhur B did an OK job of showcasing how the fashion world works. Story starts of well about a new model coming to Mumbai to get to the top. Her journey starts off with cofidence and clarity and then slowly blurs into fame, indulgence and ultimate downfall. It has got a decent story weaving and well while you are hit with many faces coming and going in and out of scenes, if you keep to the storyline, you will be able to make sense of it.
Not so tight a story but it did have some truth flavored it in specially Gitanjali Nagpal’s case with a twist.
Gitanjali Nagpal
Its saddening but though many are saying its sensationalism making a movie out of someone’s tragedy, I think its a good lesson for the wannabe models who need to definitely know the lows and high of a profession which needs grit as well as really strong will to sustain oneself.
This angle of the story was disturbing. Otherwise the story angle does not leave much of a surprise. The audience well versed with Hindi movies would be able to predict what could happen next. It does have a positive message all in all but well in comparison to Page 3, it was a little flat.
The packaging was as usual. Fashion lovers will have some time to appreciate some of the outfits and will not have much to remember the movie by.
If you like a commercial movie, you could go for it. You will not be exceedingly satisfied but on the other hand, if you do not expect much, you might just enjoy it.

The team of Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shauri, Rajat Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla have made some real nice movies… I am looking forward to watching this one too !!! I am sure it would be nice
Prashant : Liked most of them. But this one is their best, I think.
