Point of Reflection | Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is enlightenment.

That time of the day

Had a good weekend with family.

Got a good cook. She cooks good. Only hitch is that she will not be available when I shift.. sigh.. I got to enjoy the services and be grateful for it while its there..

Got a one plus one with the cook who will come and clean the house..for a small price.

Its interesting how this young lady ( the cook) has taken up the responsibility of her widowed sister in law and trying to look after her as well as make her stand on her own two feet.

I am more than happy to oblige to do my two cents.

I can only count myself lucky to have good help.

Today I have the last sitting with my dentist.. Yayyyyyyyyyyy !!

The new teeth is in and though I feel like a character in the vampire movie where teeth pop out when it smiles, it will settle in.. the good doc says..

Has anyone heard the radio ad : Snoreban.. It reminds me of the old radio ad songs.. :)

My hair stylist gave me a funny haircut which made me really uncomfortable.. convinced me to try it and all but heck.. I hate long hair on me.. it has to be less than an inch long and I am happy. Short hair is the best.. !! I will sleep more peacefully at night now.. knowing that I dont have to go to the mirror time and again and check my tresses or whatever shape they are in.. Phew.. !!

I think I have fallen in love with sunflowers. If you like sunflowers, you could take a look at what I have here. I can never get enough of them. When I saw this field, I wished time had stopped and just put me there for some minutes to be with the flowers… they bring in so much joy..
You can have a look at more of the pics here.

Trip log here.

Good food, natural surroundings, family and good friends, all make up for a very good memories.. add to that some horses frolicking and grazing near you as you sip your tea, some good conversations and I think I dont need anything else… :)

Why is it that cities are forgetting the very basics from where they sprung from.. ???
