Fuel crisis and then some
Well Bangalore seems to be only city which is having so many crisis at one time..
Power cuts.. : well more power to those who have inverters.. but heck I live in this old apt which I am going to leave in a few months time so am doing with silence..
Its actually bliss when the power is off at home since all around too there is no TV or no noise.. and I can actually hear the birds.. 
Sudden spurt of rains have given some natural comfort cooling at home.
At work, there is power saving strategy going on in all aspects. Human presence does bring up the humidity along with lights.. so its very uncomfortable. I realised that if the lights are not switched on, it is pretty tolerable.
Usage of phone lights, usage of extra monitors, making sure that small groups use small conference rooms to conserve energy… all being implemented.
Technology and its after effects.. what next.. ??
Fuel Crisis - Well after circumventing slowly and repeatedly with a helpless expression in my face the different petrol bunks, they finally fell for the hapless female in distress and secretly made a deal with me to give me fuel at a particular time. And I did have the benefit of being the regular customer and all that. All thanks to me filling from the same bunk just because it was close and convenient.
I am unabashedly glad that I am a woman and can get what I want just by altering my approach strategy.
On a different note, I like the Aamir Khan ads that are being aired.

Blasts in Bangalore.. !!! FISH !!! Just when I was thinking that what could be worse ??
All say different figures.. and a friend says there have been 12 blasts.. Go figure..
Am staying put.. will go in a while.. no use panicking..
